What do young people want in banking options? I'm doing my capstone project in management, and we are working with a local bank to develop a strategic plan for them. One thing they are wondering is what the younger generation would like to see as far as products or services that the bank provides. Do you guys have any ideas related to technology, online/text message banking, personal finance classes, customizable debit cards, etc? What options would you like to see at your bank? Or those of you that bank at larger banks or internationally--what new innovative things do your banks have that we could look into starting at this small bank?
What is the easiest form of banking to get into that pays the best? I have a bachelors degree in elementary education. Without going into much more detail than that I will only say that it simply was not what I expected it to be and I am seeking other avenues of employment. I am going to graduate school this fall seeking an MBA. Here is my question: Is it possible to move into banking and investment banking once I graduate what a masters? If so how hard is it and what can I do now to make me more marketable to the investment banking world? I am excellent with people and have an ability to make everyone click with me very well, but I know that does not necessarily mean that I am going to be successful. Any information you can provide would be wonderful. Thanks!
Would people work in banking/finance industry more likely to success in their own investments than others? Because of their insight and knowledge of the business, investment options, and trends? Just curious. I would imagine ordinary folks may be able to be money savvy to a certain level over time but probably still no equal to the pros who breathe finance/accounting/banking work night and day. cybe's made a very interesting point. I guess "ignorant" could be a "blessing" in the investment world LOL? Perhaps the more one knows, the more confidence, the more risk one may take, and the more money one may make - or lose?

I was just wondering if it were different when it's from one bank to another named bank? Thanks

How do I find an Investment Banking job without prior experience? I am currently working for a big CPA firm. I have two years of experiences. Interview Question Why do you want to work in the banking industry? Hey all, I have a few interviews coming up for some entry level internships with a few banks (both commercial and investment in divisions such as Operations and Compliance). I am a senior in college. I was wondering what is a good answer that will score points with the interviewer to the "Why do you want to be in the banking industry?" question. My answer to this question would be that I like the corporate work environment, set work schedule, offers challenging work, and that the banking industry is something I want to learn more about as a career. Is this a good enough answer and does it sound genuine? Let me know what you guys think. Thanks in advance!

How do I make the career transition from banking to teaching? I've been in banking for 3 years but have recently decided that I would like to pursue a career in teaching (something I've wanted to do since I was young). Would substitute teaching for a little while be good enough to get experience?

The shock then led to the reversal in the cross-border flow of capital and the price of that country’s currency in the foreign exchange market declined sharply as well as the price of securities traded declined. Is there possibility that the world banking system will collapse?
